Hi
I am just getting to grip with my new (old) purchase).

First problem is that there is no gas coming through to the hob. I checked the bottle and there is definitely pressure and gas.

So am I doing this wrong? Can someone explain the procedure and to light the fridge.

I am going to post another problem about my water pump on another topic, so if you know anything about this please reply.

I attached jpegs my set up: Zig unit, hob control panel and valves.

Thanks a lot for your replies.

Greetings,

I'll state the 'Obvious' and leave the more obscure for those better qualified.

Assuming that your hob has a cover, make sure that the cover is pushed fully back away from the horizontal. Most covers have a built in safety valve to prevent the gas flowing when the lid is in the Down position.

Ditto the above.
Also there will be a gas tap somewhere, its usually hidden away closed to the oven. Make sure that the tap is in line with the pipe and not at right angles.
But I put money on it being the hob cover not pushed all the way

Just added the pics.

The cover was pushed back and retained by the plastic restrainer.

7 years campers before that
lighting the fridge depends on model but generally you turn the knob to the flame setting and hold it in while either, pushing an ignitor button or if electric switching the ignitor switch to i its usually an orange switch the ignigtor stays in the i position as it will relight if it goes out most fridges have a viewing spy hole inside the fridge bottom left where you can see the flame
once you can see the flame which should be blue rather than yellow you hold the button in for 20 seconds then release

So the valve is open in the horizontal or vertical position? See pic.

Thanks
