No electrics >>>>HELP

    my rv has one crank battery and a bank of 4 leisurebatts
    the crank batt has gone flat and now all the electrics are off
    can not get any thing to work any ideas whats gone pear shaped? :cry:

    just a guess, but it could be the battery isolators are powered from the engine battery......no or too low engine battery power so inoperative battery isolators hence no house battery power.

    either put some external charge into the engine battery or, if you have one, use the emergency start button on the dash to start the engine off the house batteries.

    As said

    As said check and see if the isolator switch has been knocked in to the off position.. have done it myself in the pass as the switch is on the wall near the floor in my RV.. silly place to put it as anything leaning inside the door way can knock it off.

    But I would see if you can crank the engine from the domestic side.. most RV's have a switch near the dash that you hold in while turning the key to send house power to the starter system.

    As also said charge the engine battery and then fire it up.. try starting the genny (that normally comes of the domestic side) so you can get some power in to those batteries.

    Suggest you also do a reading on a meter to see what power there is in the batteries and when you are running what volts are going in to the system.
