hi all , just asking a question for a friend . he has a year 2000 niesmann and biscoff flair and the fridge and battery charging is not working while the engine is running? i had a brief look around but cant see the split charge relay or find the appropriate fuse? thanks for any help , happy xmas sean

Hi,Seanoo on my van the split charge relay is next to the engine battery 2.8 jtd I think it may help if you say what engine your friends van has :xThumb:

as said.. ^^^ relay under the bonnet..

the fuse is the most likely culprit.. look for an in-line fuse on the feed to the relay

If his van has an Elecktroblock or CBE charger & control panel it will be incorporated in the charger unit.

For year 2000 it should be on Fiat 2.8 and should be CBE, has your friend got the original manual as it is very good at giving position of all fuses and relays basically anything added by the factory is itemised. I could look in our manual if he is stuck but we are 2005 build date IVECO but the manual does cover the tag axle FWD as well.
