Pembroke Camping site... (here = https://pembrokecaravanpark.co.uk/)...

Not huge.. approx 40 unit`s... clean WC & Showers...

Recommend to book in advance..

Bit close to a spur road of the A1.... so during the day a bit of truck noise.. (But as I type it has gone quiet).... also during the day a lot of Jet`s going over and landing at RAF Leeming... (Which I don`t mind... ) and they have gone quiet now...

Met up with Steve = @SandJ ...... Good to meet again after... what 6 - 7 - 8 years... you are getting as bad as me...... twas a good few years ago...

Down to the job in hand tomorrow... look at a couple of property`s....

Then Sunday... up to Durham to meet with Judy`s sister...

Then Monday another viewing..... and what was going to be a surprise visit to @Ambilkate for a stop over on their drive....

But some how they got wind of it, and we have heard them and @tonka are meeting up... at some hidden location...

However it is on a busy A road but if you can stand jets then artics may be a bit tame...

2 down 1 to go....

Looked at a revamped property this morning... (Oh.. how estate agents photo`s tell LIES.. )

Wonderful views.... even seen snow on some hill`s miles away.. ..

But the rooms were barley large enough to swing a cat round..

So discounted that one...

The one this afternoon is right alongside the main runway at RAF Leeming... I rather fancy that one...

Couple of nice new`ish barn`s and a new stable block... only thing is the acre`idge is on a fairly steep slope down to a stream/river...

Anyway we have put in a cheeky offer, so will see... ..

Of up to Durham tomorrow to spend the day with Judy`s sister..

Then Monday morning going to look at one I really fancy... been completely rebuilt, and all modern like... bif-folding doors coming out of your ears into the back garden... Garage/Stable Block..

And the cream on the cake..... it already has a =

5CL and 15 tent unit`s listed with the Camping & Caravan Club of GB...

But I will change that.... hopefully...

And sit`s in just over 4 acres....

And is 2 miles from the M1 and Catterick..

Watch this space....

Leeming probably is to much bother, in a year or two the RAF plane will only make fly past once a year just to keep it open.

You work fast Mo, it would take me months to think about where to move and even longer looking at properties before rejecting them for one reason or another. Nice to see someone who knows what they want. I used to be indecisive but . . . . .

Had a nice run up to Durham.... nice slap up meal from my favourite sister-in-law...

Got spoilt rotten... (Think I married the wrong one.. ) Ouch... I was only joking... you should not read my private typing..

Woke to heavy mist this morning.... thought bloody hell I am back up Mo`s mountain in Dorset.... but here it is lifting quickly...

An hour or so and we will be away to Catterick to view the CL...

Then start to meander home and get my little girl from the kennels...

Might stop at "Tudor Campsite" Slimbridge tonight.. have to see how the time is going...

Suffice to say we have thoroughly enjoyed our few day`s away... even with out property viewings it has been a nice break..

And met a couple of lovely Funsters as well...

Let you know tonight what we thought on the Catterick property..

Well here we are after a trundle across country.....

Camped at Briarsfield for the night before heading home...

Cannot see any "Funsters" on site..... so will have to use and drink my own supply of White Wine...

Wish we had not seen the bungalow at Catterick....

It`s beautiful and the Estate Agents photo`s just don`t do it justice...

Fabulous place.... needs nothing doing to it all internal decor is superb and a modern kitchen to die for...

The four acres are set out well for renting out to horsey lovers. and the 5 Cl is all set up.... Elsan/Drinkng Water/ and Grey water waste... No EHU`s... but would put some in or allow within reason "Generators"

2 Stables + Hay store + Tractor shed Double garage + Chicken run & Coup.... and a barn that want`s refurbishing...

And high up a huge Level Caravan Site and tenting site...

Cannot afford to buy that and wait till our`s is sold...

So will have to hope we have a quick sale...

Have put in an offer on the Catterick place...

So a long wait till tomorrow...

So Judy..... without asking permission GOT IN THE DRIVERS SEAT AND.....

Drove it forwards....

Back home after our quick foray up to North Yorkshire...

Just got to make this place look worth what we are asking...

840 mile round trip..... thoroughly enjoyed it...

Madge was just what we wanted, economical, easy to drive and suited us down to the ground, and small enough to use as a run around...

Going to have lunch and then go and get this.. from the kennels..

When the bloke went and got her and bought her to the office she nearly knocked Judy over.... yelping and jumping up...
