Rally News Flash !!! Pembrey Country Park Rally 26-28 Sept (1 Viewer)

Due to the efforts of a true funster, this meet will be at the rate of just £10 per unit per night !!
Free access to the Model Steam Fair !!
The meet will be held inside the park on the camping / caravan area
Drive down the hill, turn right and you have arrived
I will need to know who is planning to attend so that I can give a list to the main gate staff
so please post on here or PM me
Just tell the gate staff that you are with Motorhome Fun when you arrive.
Rally fees will be collected on arrival by the rally stewards

A great venue for walking, cycling, etc near Llanelli, South Wales
Why go all the way to Lincoln when heaven is on your doorstep ?

Not only all that but it is Lizzy,s 40 th ? birthday so come and help us celebrate

Hi being a newbie are these meets family orientated as we have just been nominated as child minders [10yr] for the coming weekend

I don,t think there are any other young people booked on, no - one has mentioned any so far
Pembrey is a great place for young uns, lots to do and see, been there with ours many times
There may be some evening jollification but that has to stop at 11pm on the dot

Hi there all you funsters
I am told that a couple of the funsters attending the rally are meeting up in Burry port harbour on Thursday 25th before moving down to Pembrey on the 26th
You can stay at the RNLI car park for just £7 a night
If we can manage it we will be there ourselves , this is one of our fav spots, making 3 in all to date. so 5 spaces left
I have been told that there is room for up to 8 vans
Check with the harbour masters office to see if there are any spaces left before you go 01554 835691

Sad news, Chris just called me and unfortunately they may not be able to make the meet, Lizzy is not too well at the moment, however they still hope to make the meet but are going to have to see how things are later in the week.
Obviously we all hope Lizzy does recover in time for the meet and send her our best wishes.
In the meantime we have agreed to stand in for Chris, helping with running the meet, it is only 2 miles from our house.
We have no experience running a meet but will try to get things arranged as Chris planned, so please bear with us if things are not as clear in the next few days but hopefully we should be sorted in time for a good meet, and with Chris and Lizzy with us.
Also feel free to offer your own help, any assistance would be very welcome.

Thanks, all help appreciated, if you are arriving Thursday I recommend you stay down on Burry Port harbour, near the lifeboat station, I think other funsters will be there, the meet starts on the Friday in the country park a couple of miles up the road.
I will call down the harbour on Thursday evening to see who is about and maybe have a beer or two.

Picked up the shelters from Jim yesterday, so we should be ok, will be on site early Friday to get set up, all help we be great.
I will be on site on Wednesday to check out our pitch area, after that we should be able to post details for directions and arrival times.

I am please to say that Liz is home from hospital and I am trying (without much success ) to get her to rest.
Liz still wants to attend but we will see how she is and make our decision as to whether we can make it at the last minute on Friday.

Received some information for Pembrey Country Park today.
I will post full arrival info tomorrow when I have been down to the park to check our pitch area.
However just been advised that the park entry barrier is unmanned from 16:15, so if you arrive after that time and to gain access to the park you will need to put £2 in the entry barrier. This will not be refundable.
Prior to that time access will be free just say you are part of the Motorhome Fun rally.
Full details tomorrow.
