Well 25 is not bad so far.. but you do need to book and then add your name to the list.. as BOB/JANE say it near the closing time for pre book this show.. which is very good an d we are normally in a great position. Those that have booked know all about it.. so recommend it and suggest you get that booking made before it is to late.

Most of us will be at Peterborough from tomorrow onwards.. so there will be few chances to bump this meet up after to day.

Hi, glad to see you have taken the plunge (aka taken leave of your senses) and will be joining us at Newbury.

Some folk go to the evening shows (myself included) and where possible we try and meet up with other funsters in the entertainment tent.

Otherwise, and also after the evenings laid on entertainment, we meet up in the funster marquee that we put up, and generally have a drink, chat and sometimes a bit of a sing song.

It is all very laid back, and everyone has a common purpose, and that is to enjoy ourselves.:thumb:

Les desirable:Blush: I have you know many would live there right hand to be there and take power off me... but at the moment I have a problem.. which I hope Eddie at Van Bitz can sort on Thursday... we have lost the 230v power and without that we cannot recharge the batteries to the scooters... we would get one go around and that would be it. So we are praying that Eddie and his boys can sort out the issue... we were getting tripped out.. but that is not now happening now, but we have 230v to the transformer and 110amps to the American fittings like microwave, fridge etc., but we have lost all 230 plugs.. and as we have to charge the scooters from the outside locker we have a problem Houston.:Sad::Sad::Sad:

Fingers and toes cross etc.,

I may be mistaken, but I thought you had a little generator as well, or did I dream it. If so couldn't you charge the scooters on that.

No, the only generator we have is the 4wk fitted in the chassis and that has no take off.

The scooters are 24v and I could do a 12v step up to 24v DC but that will need to be a fair size and that would be a) expensive and b) if I am lucky and VANBITZ sorts the problem then I should be OK.

We have discussed it at length and we will come whatever.. just means we could only do one visit to the show .. that is all the batteries would be good for... but I have high hope's this is a simple problem.. maybe a new RCD and find the earth issue. Just need the expert and someone who knows how to read a better and trace the issue.

Even consider trying to buy a second hand Honda 1 ltr .. but that is £350 to £700 ...
