:thumb:Hi all I am con-tiki's sister. I do not have a motor home hence the name, I have to rely on my sister taking me places with her...lol. I have been on only one trip so far (should have been 2 but the wipers failed us) but am looking forward to our maiden voyage in the kontiki with Shirley in May. (All captains need a good skipper and I am taller than her so she needs me). Thanks for the welcome look forward to joining you all.

Hi and welcome. Your sister is really lucky to have a Girl Friday. You will soon be top notch at hooking up, filling tanks, etc. Happy travelling.

Rothwell, eh, Loujess? Used to have some great rugger matches against them around the middle of the last century!! Black and white hoops, if I remember.

Once I almost got sent off in odd circumstances. One of your forwards was making a bit of a nuisance of himself, and it was a very tight match.I saw him standing there, so naturally I hit him, clean on the jaw. As I did so, ref blew up for a scrum.

I saw my mate Keith standing there, grabbed him round the waist and we piled into the second row of our scrum. Waiting for the ball to be put in, I muttered "By heck, got a good one in there, Keith...Keith..." Absolute silence.

He was unconscious, head between hooker and prop where I'd put him as we went down together, held up by me, No 8 behind him and wing forward on the other side. Ref realised something was wrong, blew whistle and Keith collapsed to the ground!

I was almost in tears - high emotion, vital match and I'd laid out Keith, my best mate - both House Captains, both Queen Scouts, had done everything together all our time at school, and I'd flattened him. Even worse, earlier in the season I'd flattened the same ref, our sports master, when he got in my way. I suppose that's what saved my bacon, as everyone would have thought he was getting his own back, tho' he wasn't like that.

So, welcome. Also Hi to anyone from QEGS,n Wakefield, another great rugger outfit!
