newbie from ammanford (1 Viewer)

hello all,

Not good at this electronic stuff and brand spanking new to motorhoming. Come to think of it we are not motorhomers yet as we do not pick up the van until Friday this week - more exited than for any of the cars (or caravans) we have ever owned. yes, let that one slip - caravanners for nearly 30 years, considered motorhomes for the last 3 or 4 now taken the plunge.

One surprise already - had several new caravans before and all have been delivered in a few weeks from placing an order. Motorhome was ordered at the Birmingham show in Ocober, promised delivery 1st march, actual delivery 23 may. Is that usual?

on the delivery of new vans i guess it depends what make, model and extras you want as well as when you order.

we ordered ours in a September and was delivered mid February so 6 months, if we'd wanted a different layout or was prepared to go to another dealer with a poorer deal then we could have had our van within 1 month. but an extra £5k on the bill is a lot of money
