Hi All,
We are Tim & Lynn both now retired. Our only experience of Motorhoming was to hire one this year and travel the West Coast of Scotland/Skye both wilding and sites both of which were fantastic. The weather could have been kinder by a long way but we had so much fun we decided to jump in and get our own.
We are now like kids waiting for Christmas which this year will be in March 2017.
I doubt we will answer too many questions but ask loads.

First daft question... Is this the place to post the FDQ, well here goes with the second
I'm seeing on what I think is my page:- messages 2
I was going to ask where they are for me to read but I think as soon as I press the post reply button that may change to 3.

Yes, they're not messages FOR you, they're messages FROM you. So every time you post something the number will increase.

Glad that you enjoyed Scotland - we are doing the NC500 next year and including a couple of funters meets. Which motorhome did you hire and which are you now going to call your very own?

Hello Welcome to Fun, you can always tell when someone joins and becomes a paid up member that they are serious about their motorhome and going to get the best out of it, like you we did the West Coast & Skye this year, on Skye it was very cold but that had the advantage of it being crystal clear making the scenery stunning, we have been in warmer weather but then got mist and could not see a lot of the beautiful scenery. So there kind of shows the beauty of a motorhome and being retired you can make so many choices when and where to travel.
Enjoy your research on what you need and where to go in your new motorhome when you get it and most of all enjoy.

Well thanks for the most recent wishes and welcomes.

@Rosemary1 we hired a Swift Bolero 724FB which was excellent. The biggest niggle was me getting up during the night and disturbing the boss. A couple of other small niggles.
We have gone for a Kontiki 625 Lounge version.

@lorger Indeed a beautiful country one of our first plans is to go back and spend more time there and visit more beautiful places.
@Popeye That pic looks like it might be too much fun for me. Nice vehicle though.

Is there any particular context not to mention Brexit or Gassing.... Not together in the same sentance.... In the same thread.... Or maybe not at all
