New Years Eve in South West (1 Viewer)

Any suggestions for where to spend New Years Eve in Devon or Cornwall?
Quite fancy spending it away in the motorhome with others, I think

I think Whitsand Bay does a new year thingee, we've been a couple of times, the facillitys are sh**e the outlook is bleak, but the welcome and the Bar is warm
C C Hillhead also does a New Year thingee meal, Fireworks, but you pay, you'd have to get in quick for that one methinks:Blush:

Whitsand Bay, as Rangi says, is Sh**te if the weather is bad but lovely if the weather is good but, the clubhouse is great, good buffet, great atmosphere.

Hillhead (Brixham CC site) is really great event, starts at about 7pm and goes through to about 1am, live entertainment, good buffet, Fireworks at midnight, great location, great atmosphere.

You need to book either venue quite early, especially Hillhead.

Last year we stayed at Ayr Park and spent the evening in St Ives which was brilliant. But Ayr Park is fully booked for this year. This week we spent three glorious days at Treloan just outside Portscatho. They are open all year and Debbie who runs the site says Portscatho is a great place to be for NYE so we are going there this year with a couple of friends.
