How about one of those huge Gazebo's? You could just erect it over the TT Wouldn't keep you warm (but you have Paul for that ) but it would defo keep the top dry....................

I need a clip on caravan roof to replace the canvas

or just buy Geo's RV, he seemed very keen on selling it, not that I would have anywhere to park it or the funds to pay for it, maybe I should ask Northern Rock for a loan

(Actually you're too late, I've been booked for New Year's Eve for months now, at a wonderfully obscene price, so I'll be working over here in the warm country that night).

just had a look on google earth and it looks like the nearest place of any size to the Rutland arms (dirty duck) is grantham about 3 miles.
had a word with shirley and got a look that could curdle milk when i suggested a new year away in the van so i think its out of the question.

Don't know what we are doing this year as only just started to talk about it.
We are usually a last minute decider and by then everywhere is full
