new water pump query (1 Viewer)

Got the new pump. Just one little question...The power supply ...This is connected via spade ends, but I am puzzled ..Before I disconnected the current power connectors I noticed that brown wire went to blue on the other side and the blue went to brown on the other side of the connector..surely this is wrong...I have included a pic before I disconnected the old pumpsView attachment 39435

I think on standard submersible pumps, it doesn't matter which way the impeller spins.

I would connect the new pump the right way round though. Did you get one with a non-return valve?

yes I did thanks....looks very easy to fit...Just need to put some spade ends on the wiring
