Hello All,

Not only am I new to motor homes, This is my firstpost. I am seeking some help and guidance. I have a 2004 Autocruise Wentworth to which I intend fitting a tow bar with the intention of towing a small car. To help me determine which car, I need to know the safe towing capacity of my motor home. Can anyone advise please ? as this information seeems to be impossible to find.

There is only one way to find the legal towing capacity and that is to weight your motor home fully laden and deduct that from the weight as stated on the weight plates, without the fully loaded weight anything else will be a guess, its fair to assume 95% go with an educated guess as to comply and do it properly is almost impossible, due to the limits imposed, i would suggest most are over weight when towing a car

we need base vehicle details
and full up weight to start calculations
also it is assumed your licence entitles you to tow:thumb:

some on here may help if they have a simular model but that will only be an indication/guess
