Hi, I am David Jenkins from Leamington Spa. I am new to MHF and I am part of a ukulele group and we hold a fabulous ukulele festival each year in the area. This year 2016 the venue will Warwick Racecourse with all its fabulous facilities - plus overnight(s) motorhome / caravan parking on the main concourse. The ukulele festival is on 9th/10th/11th July 2016 and is a fun event with a dozen or more groups and usually attracts up to 2000 people. Loads of food, drink and attractions for all the family will be available plus picnic areas. Pls reply if this is of interest ? We haven't advertised it for this year yet.

Hello Dave. I was lucky enough to perform at last year's event, with the Sedgley Strummers. Hopefully will do this year (I've changed our York visit to free up the dates) Indeed it was a good day so look forward to this year.

You are very generous Jim, you'll let any old plucker in here. I hear you are in line for The Frau Merkel Medal for services to displaced persons.

Thanks Beacons564 - we came and played at Neath mini-festival last year - we astonished the locals(and ourselves) by performing Sonban Fach (we had been coached by our 2 resident Welshmen !!) We hope to go again to Neath 11th June this year - Davelele

Wyn, the Sedgley Strummers are definitely one of the groups this year, and I can guarantee spot(s) longer than 21mins ! Pass the word to your group as we have not had chance yet to sort everything out. Davelele

I found a very amusing version of this entitled 'Re-installing Windows' sung to the same tune. Obviously not a Microsoft fan!
