Hi have been a 'browser' for quite a while on this site and am now a fully paid up member. We are a retired couple, have been motorhoming since 2008 and travelled extensively both UK and Europe. Have 'done' France, Belgium,Holland, Germany, Italy, Austria, Switzerland, Poland, CZ Republic, Hungary and others I've probably forgotten. Hope to gain information on going over to Australia and hiring a van over there so would really appreciate any advice, this may not be the correct place to ask but I will find my way around. Thanks for including us.

Thanks folks for a swift reply! We have loved most of the countries visited but still have a love of France and Germany but found Eastern Europe really interesting, especially loved Budapest and Cracow, just love travelling anywhere. Looking forward to the 'off' again ASAP.

Hi one of our members have been there reasontly @Destination Unknown may pick up and be able to help, others have done it I know, if you look in the corner you will see a search, put Australia in the top, quite a bit of Rugby will come up, but also information you are looking for.

Absolutely love Germany, especially the Munich Oktoberfest and Bavarian region. Family in Australia calls this year, so have to take the plunge.

Will keep you posted, however not doing the Australia trip until September this year but hopefully doing lots of Europe, maybe the 'Tour de France' for the 5th time, must be the only spectator who doesn't ride a bike but love watching!!
