I have had a lot of these and others all with Zipped files attached...

Yup.. I get about 10+ a day mate.. One of the downsides of having ( literally ) hundreds of e-mail address's !!

Anything with a zipped file attached ( unless coming from a known source AND is expected ) goes straight to the 'report spam' folder, exactly the same as any mail with a link to ebay. paypal, etc etc ( which of course are NOT links to ebay etc, but links to a copycat site used to collect your password and user name )

It still shocks me how many times I see people complain about having their account 'hacked'

No one is going to bother hacking an ebay or PayPal account as it is too time consuming..
In every single case I have been involved in in the past 9 years, the mess has been tracked back to the victim ( read plonker... sorry.. there has been MORE than enough warnings over the years about clicking on email links ) GIVING the scammers their passwords by clicking on an emailed link

If you hear someone breaking your door down in the middle of the night you'll know Bletchley Park has been monitoring your posts.
If you don't you'll know they ain't doing their job properly
