Am leaving on June 4th to Spain. Am trying new route from Irun-Pamplona-Zaragoza.
Has anybody been on this route and if so can you recommend any nice stopover places between Pamplona and Zaragoza.

Be aware that the N10 from Bordeaux down to the Spanish border is now all Toll !!
Recently opened, reading latest reports....
Not sure on Cost and no old N road running alongside that can be easily used...

In summer I prefer to cut across country and use the Somport tunnel.
Cant help with any stops as I usually overnight at Bordeaux and make it down to Zarragossa in same day. Then stay at a small truck stop 1/2 hour down on the A23 at Carinena.

Here are some others I use.
MARLOFA (Zaragossa north)
On the N232 10km before you get to Zaragossa is a truckstop. There are signs for motorhomes and some dedicated bays are marked.
It's a free stop BUT noisy with all the trucks and sometimes you get small vans parking in the bays but they usually move on.
Last time we were there we found electric points at the back and plugged in !! This site may not suit everyone.

CARINENA (Zaragossa south)
Half hour 30km south on the A23. Follow signs into town and onto the old main road.
There is a petrol station on one corner and a truck park / resturant on the other.
We have always stayed there free, no one came and asked for anything. Usually caravans and campers park around the back.
Never been inside as yet.

TERUEL
A23 - Here there is a Dinosaur museum, Dinopolis. Very well signposted, big purple signs.
It has a huge car park, so ample free parking and quiet at night. Supermarket and petrol station by entrance.
From reading other people comments I was said that the local Mayor had no issues and encouraged people to stop.
In summer very busy but by 6.30 it's empty. Lots of locals pass you going on their evening walks.

Came up through the Somport about 5 weeks ago. The N10 was still a freebe then and although they were busy with the toll booths, it was far from finished.

Recently came down N10 to Spain it is now toll, but you only pay twice and each charge is only 2.60 euros, so not very expensive and well worth it as there is not much in the way of an alternative route.

Are all the tolls open now, or just a couple of them.
