days !
Hello all,....!!!
just taken the plunge and got myself a proper well used and much loved van.
Flora is a 1991 Fiat Ducato Autohomes Camelot... she may have more names than that, but I forget ! :winky:

Just got her last night for a real bargain, from a couple who'd looked after and used her well. Its fair to say she's a little tatty around the edges, but who isn't ?!?

We're taking her out for a wee break right away this weekend - either St Andrews area or Inveraray - the other half will decide and I'll do what I'm told.

I'm not sure yet what kind of work Flora will need to keep her tip top just yet, but I'll slowly pick over the main bits and see how I get on. I'll get a specialist to give her a good look over too and point out any future concerns in the making. (Any recommendations - Glasgow based ?)

The first thing I need to get my hand on is an indicator lens cover for the left wing. The bulb is there, just someone seems to have swiped the nice big orange plastic rectangle that covered it !

Anyway,... looking forward to many happy miles and hopefully learning a few tricks of the trade along the way.

Cheers, Rob. :thumb:

Hi Rob

Welcome to MH Fun flyingwelcome

Had a Camelot many years ago, we enjoyed our time with one.

When new was considered a very good van with a good specification.

Hope you enjoy your travels in yours.

Cheers, young Bob, or should that be Rabbie?

The more inmates the better, but those of us living in Scotland do raise the tone a little...

Any way, welcome and long may your bum leak, or whatever old Bob ( Burns) said on the subject.
