I would like to get a new clock which has the all or most of the following.

Runs off 230V.
Runs off 12V or internal battery.
Automatically sets time and date using radio signal.
Always shows the time at night when on 230V, using a permanent back light.
Has long wave (for use in France), medium wave and FM wavelengths.
Has an alarm.
Is reasonably compact.
Does not cost an arm and a leg, preferably not even an arm.

Don't bother with night time illumination or radio. get a weather station which is much more important to your lifestyle.

They are radio controlled for accuracy and will give you inside temp, outside temp and next 12 hours weather forecast.

I do hope you appreciation of the technology that goes into motorhomes is a little beyond that of the cuckoo clock.

However next time i am looking for solid tyres for my motorhome I will give you a bell.

Thanks for the big smile!
