We are here at the moment. The aire itself is excellent, but agree that it's not in the prettiest of locations.

The area is flat and gravelled. There are water point shared between each two pitches and ample electric points.

There is a portakabin type shower and toilet block. Two toilets and three showers in each, men and women. And outside are washing up and laundry sinks.

There is a "cave" with some tables and chairs for anyone to use.

We have cycled from here on two different circular routes using roads and tracks and the beach at San Jose is about 7km away.

Is it really surrounded by plastic greenhouses, as on Google maps shows?

Well yes, but it's at the end of them on the way to the coast, and once you're inside it's a nice environment. For people who want to park up and sit at their unit it's ideal.

When leaving the camperstop to go to the coast you immediately leave the plastic behind. BUT you do need some other form of transport to reach the more interesting sights. We used our cycles.

Almost as it is outside the Natural Park, as I said not the prettiest location but you don't have to drive far to some of the superb locations mentioned on the other thread.

I would consider it to be a good base to explore the area but not for long stays, which is after all the idea of a camperstop.

We re here now.

very cheap, unbelieveable really for the standard of it, 7 euros per night includes marked clean well surfaced pitches, good quality showers etc, wifi and 16 amp electric for only another 3 euros. washing machine and drier 3.50.

Not a great lead up to it, through all the plastic greenhouses but Nice area starts about 0.5km up the road and very scenic. lots of people are going out for days and coming back at nights and some are just lazing in the sun as long as they can get out of the wind (January).
