New calf born today in the middle of gale force 10 storm, hardy lot these cattle. Now snug in a bush sheltered from the rain. So that is the first of a possible 5 over the coming months. so thats my Christmas in Portsmouth knocked on the head. Ah well have to get on with more fencing instead.

Photos as promised, the old cow was too busy so I took them. Plenty of grass as you can see, for those that had doubts. It is a bull calf which is brilliant. I hope the others get their acts together before it gets too darn cold. As you can see he is a good size and full of himself
