"Hi everyone, just to let anyone who is interested aware that an Aire has been opened at kinlochbervie. On the north west coast of Scotland the parking is on the old harbour. £10 for the night, level parking includes electricity, fresh water and loo emptying facilities. Buy the ticket at Bervie stores in the village. Facilities are provided by the village. Beautiful walks and scenery around the area.

Oh and the post code is IV27 4RP. There's only one post code. Follow the road past the war memorial to the bottom of the hill. The main harbour is on the left turn right past the Bervie stores and the old harbour is just beyond."

Stayed there last year, nice sheltered spot. There is a CL on top of the hill, but the harbour is much better.

Photo of old harbour here, taken this year.
Aire is the right hand side of photo, they were working on it while i was fishing off the harbour wall. I wondered what they were doing and didn't bother to ask.

Jim your google map location is the new habour.

I wild camped at the old harbour last year. It is around 200 m to the right up over a slight incline. The village store is on the road.

Toilets are a few metres from the shop.

Beautiful drive in and peaceful night.
