any one got the hill descent control on reading about it it still uses the brakes so can it cook the brakes on a long descent?

To me hill descent is a LandRover type of thing that allows you to go slowly down a steep hill in second gear. Not sure if this handles a 1in10 descent on the autoroute or not.

We have got a button on the dash that says it is for hill descent but never got it to work yet.

It is for use on hilly & mountain roads, holds lower gears longer both descending and climbing I use it often works very well.
