Okay in the 'Marjal in Spain' thread we have a few negative opinions about the site which in time may reduce, so how about a few positive reports on Spanish sites you have visited.:thumb:

Cap Blanche, l'Albir near Benidorm. Right on the beach. Close to bars, restaurants. Quiet area. Basic site, no pool. But in a perfect location.

Vila Sol, Benidorm. Good site, good facilities, closest site to the manic swath of golden sand that is Benidorm. Good sized pitches.

Camping Lorelei Blick, St Goar. Right on the prettiest section of the Rhine. Spoiled by rail noise but worth a few days for the view. Brilliant cycling along the Rhine and boats like buses.

Rhinefal Stellplatz. A Stellplatz right next to the biggest waterfall in Europe, showers, dumps. Cheap.

There's loads I've posted in the past, can't be bothered to type more.

There's only one place I've ever said I'd not want to return even if free, new Marjal. A parking lot in the middle of nowhere.

What we need is a codeword to insert in a message to aid search, I propose entering brilliantsite in the text and then the search engine will home in on these sites with ease and we don't have to keep typing the same thing time and time again.

Might as well have the opposite codeword rubbishsite

Please bear in mind that[HI] Spanish Sites[/HI]
are Just That.
look in first if you aren't happy move on
ask who ever is on there if they aren't happy move on
the better sites will have happy campers
and they will soon say what they think.
There are good, bad, awful and downright ugly.

All depends on the site owner and your own attitude.:thumb:

Just paid a visit. It's just about full, could fit the odd van in but not many.

Just up the road is an aire type place. Full. Packed in so the doors just open, they can manage a table and chairs but only in the road. Don't know how they get the vans in and out.

Had a walk along the front at Altea, and enjoyed a portion of the finest Apfelstrudel outside Germany. Charming, quiet, could not be more different to Benidorm.

Beach here is just big pebbles, nothing like the daily manicured beach of Benidorm but OK for Olde Fartes.

brilliantsite rubbishsite ( got one of each in this message )
