Understand that the February Show at the NEC Birmingham http://www.ccmshow.co.uk/ is a bit more tent & caravan than motorhome focussed & not as big as the October one but may still be of interest to Funsters? The manufacturers that we want to see will be there again so we will be going to do more research for our potential change to a PVC - the exhibitor list & layout are already on the website (y)
The Birmingham Airport Travelodge is a good budget option from £28 room only (Friday 24th double room) to £34 with car parking (not motorhome) in the NCP open air car park (Airport Car Park 7) opposite for £7.50 per 24 hours (pay on exit) which includes a regular free shuttle minibus to the airport. Once at the airport it's the free monorail to the NEC & an undercover walk to the halls. Might sound a bit involved but easy & better than being stuck for hours in the traffic queuing in & out of the NEC at peak times. Lots of shops & restaurants en route including M&S Simply Food at the airport so no problem picking up survival supplies :) At least one local Indian restaurant offers free delivery takeaway to the Travelodge too

Only discount code for tickets that I can find so far is SG1 used here http://www.ccmshow.co.uk/ but doesn't appear to reduce ticket cost  hopefully better ones or competitions for free tickets nearer the time.

For those that prefer a Holiday Inn group hotel try going via this link Broken Link Removed - normally works out a little cheaper when booked long enough in advance. Never been asked for it yet but you do need to print & complete the voucher lower down on that page. Don't think "Johnathan Nelson" exists so just a clever Facebook marketing tool Link Removed
The Holiday Inn Express near the NEC Broken Link Removed with free breakfast & unlimited WiFi is from £63.75 for those dates although parking is £8 extra. The Little Owl Inn is next door but not the best pub food or service although normally a pleasant atmosphere with an open fire - if you sign up to their mailing list a few weeks before going then they usually email money off vouchers.

We stayed at the Travelodge when attending the October Show. Really enjoyed our stay, staff very welcoming and helpful, decent food in the restaurant as well

For those who are planning on going to the Feb NEC show for a motorhome it would appear you'd be wasting your time - I have it on good authority from an employee of our dealer that it is now virtually a caravan show and in his view should be renamed apparently there will be very few motorhomes there as many of the dealers are not going to bother attending it now, of if they do it will be with caravans.

If you are therefore expecting to see lots of motorhomes, or indeed a specific range/model, best to check with the dealers who are attending that they will be taking them!

We've not been to the February Show (know it is smaller) before but at the October Show asked those we are interested in if they would be exhibiting & most will be :) Worth checking on the exhibitor list http://www.ccmshow.co.uk/exhibitor/ & perhaps as @Minxy Girl said giving them a call.
Ultimately the best place to go is the Dusseldorf Show but each has its merits.

Not long enough!
I went to the Feb one this year. Complete waste of time. Won't be going again.
Very small show with not many motor homes. :-(
