I have removed this from our motorhome because, as reported already on FUN, it tends to give inaccurate readings when solar is connected. Guess what, I have installed solar.

If you do not have solar then it works fine and as expected. £40 plus postage at cost.

What am I missing ? Have BM1 and solar for years now and not spotted an error. Greatest thing since sliced bread.

Ah. I have seen that effect. I realised it was a bit odd, thought it may have got the battery capacity a bit wrong and seeing as the voltage was sound ignored it.

This is using the wall mounted LCD model, maybe the problem is made worse by the phone app.

Had one for a year or more. Never put any reliance on the capacity part of it. Mainly used to monitor current.
