Well, here I am again, desperately wanting to like Linux, but so far I have been disappointed with what was on offer. Everytime i got the Linux bug, I had problems installing, using, getting things to work.
However, I now have a quicker ( but still old) MacBook Pro running Mavericks, so decided I would try again.
I downloaded the latest version of Ubuntu and free Virtual Box. My first thoughts after installing Ubuntu were, "Wow, it all seems to work" I managed to install it easily on a virtual machine in Osx10.9' it all seems to work well so far.
But, I am sitting here looking at it and wondering what I am going to do with it and why bother?
I like OSX, it does everything I want, it always works, I haven't thought to myself " I wish I could do this......"
So, what do I do with it now it have it that I can't do in OSX?
