Since 2011 (tugger for 20 before that)
During our 3 weeks in Portugal and Spain recently we watched a few DVDs on our 12v TV with built in DVD player. Whilst one was playing I thought I may as well disconnect the aerial lead as it is not needed. However when I pulled it out the end connected to the TV was hot and as soon as I unplugged it the TV. went off and it will not run without the co-ax connected. Is this normal???
Any help from the experts on here would be much appreciated.
TIA
John

agree with tofo's assessment..

it looks like you have lost the 12v negative from the TV supply .. either at the socket or the plug .. perhaps a loose wire or burned connection.. open them up and check.
