Just a quick introduction. Have been motorhoming for 13 years but shy away from forums as I dislike the 'flaming' I have seen on other sites.

We have a 1996 Swift Kontiki and have travelled most of the UK and quite a few parts of France. Keep looking at changing the old girl (I mean the motorhome ) but can find nothing that justifies spending many thousands to match her. Also have upgraded her with many bits and pieces - LED lighting, built in wifi system etc - and she runs so well.

Having recently retired we are now preparing to travel much further afield and spend at least half the year on the road.

Wishing everyone happy travels.

Hi and welcome we are in the same position as you, we know this van and now with all the teething problems solved we think we might as well keep this one except for when Tez reaches 70 then out will be too big for him to drive so either he will go for the medical and pass or we change it that will be in 2 years time

good day young man

welcome and come on in
its a friendly forum

if you want answers youll get plenty
but you will need to take some
with a pinch of salt
you will also get one liners
but that will keep your post live

it may evan go off at a tangent
only takes a quick post to get on track again

my truck is a 1998 new enginge other one blew itself up
a new interior
just gotta get out and use it

just one thing keep an eye out
for the nutters on here
never met them myself
