we are off to France in September for a month and were wondering whether we need a muzzle for our lab (and me of course)?

Never seen one on a dog over there... but.... if he/she is snappy, might be worth taking one..

Never seen one used there. We have a couple in the van for ours just in case but they are still in the wrappings they came in.

We carry soft mesh ones as part of our kit, but travel around and through a lot of countries. Unless your dog is aggressive you don't need one in France for that breed. It's useful to have a soft one though, in case want to use public transport or taxi and they ask for one to be worn. Also double for medical emergency if your dog is injured can use to prevent them bitting if they are agitated.
