Not sure if this is the right area but..........

We enjoy going to music festivals and have done so in tents, caravans, campervan and in 2014 our new acquisition.

Are there any other festival goers in MHF and if so which ones do you go to?

    Recently; we have enjoyed-
    Shrewsbury FF
    Linton Blues
    The Acoustic Festival
    Lakefest

We're doing our Ukulele Workshops at The Acoustic Festival, Camperjam and hopefully Shrewsbury Folk Festival again next year.

Would like to do Cropredy too.

Excellent....another potential one to the list!

Currently we are still tied to work so we try to do stuff within an hours drive for Friday/Sunday. Come 2015....wahey!

We also like the smaller events but would like to diversify from the folk/blues a little. Shani still has a hankering to do Glastonbury though!!

Bugjam at Santa Pod is a good gig, as apart from the music , you've got the race track to watch and also all the VW stuff.
Other scooter rallies there are also very good.
They are all also very cheap to attend.:thumb:

Try this, one less than 2 hours drive from you at the end of the M53.
The Wirral Folk Festival is now in its 10th year,It has attracted international names in the music genre from Barbara Dickson to Dougie McLean. This years event runs from 5th. until 8th June. This year one of the headline acts is Seth Lakemann and a special local Legends of The Spinners concert with 'a chance to meet'.
There are fringe events local and regional performers, music workshops AND a craft fair.
It all happens at Whitby Social club Ellesmere Port Cheshire CH65 6QF
Good food available and real ales.
Camping on site for w/e ticket holders. Well drained fields. includes a large hardstanding area. portaloos are located around the site. The campsite is enclosed within the grounds and backs onto Spinney Woods. A dog-walking area is located at the back of the field adjacent to the woods. Please ensure your dog is kept on a lead.

Well aware of the various Upton festivals. We've been unlucky not to be able to attend any but really fancy the Blues one in July. They are on our list!

We've been to the Maverick festival near Woodbridge in Suffolk, these last two years. Lovely small, friendly festival with fab Americana music. Basic camping in a field - lots of motorhomes.

Did go to the Twinwood Festival but seems to always to be a bit cold and windy. Again a lovely atmosphere and lots of motorhomes! and fab music - rock and swing. http://www.twinwoodevents.com/tickets.html

Maverick is also one we have looked at but it didn't fit with work. Love Americana!!

We've been to Twinwood for the Rhythm Festival but that is now defunct.

Glastonbury? Pah - try Glastonbudget! Tributes and locals, great beer tent and doesn't take itself at all seriously. Not to mention just £125 for the weekend for van+2...
