The company IT manager should know that information.

Edit. It also depends on whether the company firewall will allow remote connection.

Hi Dazzer

If it's running outlook try typing in https://exchange.++++++.+++

Where + 's are your companys domain name eg bbc.com etc

Therefor in the above type Link Removed as an example.

Look at your account settings at work for in Microsoft Outlook under Accounts...

Domain can be found under System in Control Panel on your work PC. Look in Name of PC.

The server ipaddress can be resolved by Going to Run on your PC at work and type in cmd press enter....If enabled....Otherwise try Accessories/DOS Prompt.

At Black dos box type in tracert +++++++++

Where + is the full address of the mail server

It should resolve the name to an ipaddress at the top

Exchange services often run on Link Removed

They are all questions your IT administrator should be able to tell you very easily.

The main problem seems to be the fact that ive just sacked my IT administrator cos he kept sending me bills for doing nothing and when questioned couldnt come up with a reasonable reason for billing me!!:cry:

Im on the look out for a new IT guy but in the short term id like to get this sorted out before i go off sunning myself in July. ::bigsmile:

Ill give the suggestions above a go and let you know how I get on.

Thanks.:thumb::thumb:
