    The film is on BBC1 at 2115 - think it is based on the original books.

    You're right, hope tomorrow's special is better - the cameo appearance by @old-mo was almost funny though.

    Only ever seen trailers for the programme - which were enough to ensure we've never seen the programme itself! We watched an old edition of QI XL instead. x:-)

    Old boy... "This is Red Dog.. get the unit together". Loved it,tongue in cheek,russian "Hit men ?" losing it and laughing,blind Ninjas,council with Tourettes....... Loved it,plus great shots of Dublin.

    Most of my siblings watch it and break their bollox laughing, they think its hilarious???:confused:.......Makes me want to throw up every time I hear his/her voice.......utter shite:xeek:

    Def marmite then.. But I am a fan and enjoy the tv shows.. Found the film a bit frustrating to be honest
    Certainly enjoyed last nights offering.. Watched it this morning as was partying last night !

    The film based on the books is Agnes Browne, made in 1999.

    The current Mrs Brown series' are very, very loosely based on Brendan O'Carroll's original books, which are an excellent read.

    Like the TV show, the film was a bit weaker, but still amusing.
    I can't understand how people can get to retiring age and still be offended by a few effs and Bees..
