After a French lorry passed me at around 150mph:unsure: (seemed like that anyway) the bathroom rooflight blew open breaking one of the little arms that connect between the handle and the dome itself. Of course you can only buy the entire rooflight.
Does anyone have an old damaged rooflight lying around with one of these little arms on?

Not sure if they are all the same but it's a 400 x 400 with the black/biege spring loaded locking handle

A good fix might be to buy some Polymorph Plastic
Make a mold using the one that is left good using plasticine or similar Heat up the granules ( quite a low temperature ) and poor in to mold.
OK, it will take a few minuted work with a craft knife to tidy it up but it will work just fine.

Best of all, if it comes out wonky or duff, you can just melt it and use it again !

I believe Karl ( @Gromett ) has used it with great success.

Unfortunately not a simple as that as it is hollow to take a spring and also has other complicated shapes, now 3D printing would work but at what cost for a one off. Probably cheaper to buy a complete rooflight.
