The following three pictures show why we are so tired of Blighty and cannot wait to cross the channel on the first of September.

They were taken from our van at 3.00 this afternoon and I could have taken similar so so many times this year

South of France much sunnier and about 35 degrees at the moment.

You might just be lucky

No worries Frankie we are towing a huge cloud all the way down from North west England

Just for you :thumb::thumb:

How was your weather today? A very large cloud found me near Thirsk this morning and accompanied me all the way to Oxford intermittently flashing forked lightning and dropping enormous amounts of water - was it your cloud Alan?

Thanks Catherine. Plenty of rain to the north of us but you must be the reason we had a lot less than forecast here ::bigsmile:

Hey It may well have been our cloud.

We left Newark early and perhaps slipped under the old buggers radar, because when we got here in Norfolk we had beautiful blue skies.

Then the old bugger found us again within three hours and punished us with a thunder storm.

non as yet, hired in Canada a couple of times. hope to buy in the next few years.
We've been having rain here too but not thunder.
It may sound stupid but why don't you go to France earlier?

Ooooooh believe me Sue if Lynda had not been having hospital treatment we would have cut and run across the Channel months ago
