I'm a newbie
Can anyone recommend any sites, pub stopovers near the coast around Anglessey? 2 dogs and their owners in need of remote beaches to walk, regardless of the weather. :imoutahere:

Try Shoreside Rhosneigr. Walk through the site across the road and you have miles of sand hills and a river to a wide open deserted beach, my dogs loved it.
The site is basic but everything you need.
In the village there are a number of pubs and a couple of places to eat.
Had a caravan on the site for about 20 years

Church Bay, two camp sites, we like the one opposite the Lobster Pot, next to the beach and costal path, loads of different walks and a pub as well.

There's a couple of pull-ins by the road just south of Aberffaw, but I don't know if they're restricted in any way regarding overnighting. The beach there is unusual in that it has an impressive expanse of dunes that you can still walk among. Dunes seem to be off limits in so many places these days. Most of the SW facing beaches on Anglesey are pleasant - I don't know the others so well.
