For the first time we have sorn'd our Van for one month to stop the complication of Tax/Insurance due the same date. Suddenly feel woo:Eeek: won't be using it for a month, so started thinking of places to go from November. Not abroad in the UK .

Anybody use their vans regularly in the UK in the winter and if so where to and any advice.

This will be our first winter with a MH and we are planning to continue with weekends away right through (minus the 3 weeks in Florida over Christmas) so would also be interested in the responses.

Yes... mostly go MCC rallies as they use schools, rugby clubs etc..
Christmas and new year parties as well....

I think we need a few small Fun winter rallies, can someone sort it please :)
and close to the Midlands.. ;)(y)

Although no rally planned, unlike last year. We may go to Southport half term week at the end of October..

Carol, one of our regular weekends is the Victorian Fayre in Keswick, this year on Sunday 6th December. Plenty going on, stalls, entertainment, reindeer. The council car parks have been free in the past for the day, so stopped outside of town and gone in early. Quite a nice 'wintery' event. Can't go this year as the same weekend as the British Ice Skating championships.
