I am moving to Whitby in a few weeks and as I won't have the facility for parking I am looking for somewhere to store my motorhome with access when I need it. Any help would be appreciated.

Hi . Sorry not being able to help either . The place where we store ours is choc a bloc . Maybe you should put an ad in the Whitby gazette . I hope that you have a parking place for your car since as I am sure you already know parking in Whitby is a bit of a nightmare .
We pay about £750.00 for residents parking just so our car can be used as a perch for seagulls . Otherwise I am sure you will love it here .

Thanks for your reply. I have put an ad in the Whitby advertiser but will also try the Gazette. The place I am buying is near The Ropery so am hoping I can park my car there as most other people do. I have been holidaying there for many years and am looking forward to living there with my dog - new adventure!

Good luck on moving to Whitby. We always stop at hooks house farm in Robin Hoods Bay, but for the life of me can't remember seeing any vans stored in the area. Only few we saw was up near the abbey on a farm. Might be worth a try.
