hi, im new and looking for a motorhome. Becoming increasingly aware of the scams on ebay/autotrader. Do you think it would be worth having this a a definitive forum category?? Or where would the best place be to post this info...

other members have posted threads recently on ebay scams, so by all means post away.

There are some decent buys also that are genuine. Just make sure you visit and get it inspected before purchasing.

easiest way to tell if its a scam is click on the sellers name.

if its a scam it will take you to ebays 'find people/members' page.

if its genuine it will take you to their profile.

also click on their feedback score.

genuine.....it will show their feedback.

scam.....it will produce an error page.
