Swift Freestyle 590 Year

I have a 2004 Swift Freestyle 590 Motorhome. Mileage only 19000. Just had it MOT and serviced. I was told by the mechanic that the engine and chassis in excellent condition.

But, and there always is a but, my wife finds the decor dated and the oven is certainly past its best. She feels time to buy a new one, but I am trying to persuade her to let me up date the interior.
Any recommendations on upholsterers, oven replacement would be welcome.
Also I am doubtful that I will do it, but can you paint the wood effect doors, cupboards etc.?

Since 2012 but longer in my dreams
Someone on here a while ago painted their cupboards and overhead lockers, some liked it ,I didn't ,there's no accounting for taste.I think it would make the van less desirable when you come to sell it on .
Get it re upholstered and change the carpet ,or add a wooden floor and you'll be surprised how good it looks.
I don't know much about the oven but I think they're a standard size so can't be that hard to swap .
Good luck!

many many years! since I was a kid
as above, painted doors look crap and devalue the van. theres a few very good upholstery specialists, but they have a waiting list to get the work done, any local upholsterer would be able to do an excellent job. Floor, as above decent wood effect vinyl or laminate will make a huge improvement. Ovens are standard size and relatively simple to update or refurbish
ive seen superb refurbs done for a few hundred pounds and then again some horrible finishes costing over a thousand for weird coloured leather etc. Personal taste is important, but if you dont plan on keeping it till its scrapped, dont go OTT
