Hi I am Mike. My wife and I after living in Cyprus for 14 years are preparing for our move back to the UK later in the year.
We will be traveling around looking for a property and are planning on buying a motorhome as a base, and after for weekends and holidays.
Other than motorhome rentals years ago we are novices, so will probably be asking questions that seem daft to the experts on this forum! I hope everyone will bear with us until we find our feet. We will be trying to determine a suitable vehicle to purchase and to establish procedures and running cost estimates.

I am sure you have it all sorted but when you get back things will be much easier if you have a UK address, but a relative will do.

Thanks. The address issue is one I am concerned about as we will not have a permanent UK address. I am not sure how this will affect things like insurance. We do have family and I have UK bank accounts etc.

There are quite a few full timers on here who have got round this problem but best to start a new thread for that discussion.

But you will need to subscribe now as you have used up your free shots. :)

As you have used your free posts I realise you cant reply but......

You WILL need a fixed address for vehicle registration and insurance.
The easiest way is use a relative/trusted friends address.
You will be stretching the truth saying its your permenant address but I dont see the problem.
Having a UK bank account I assume that is registered somewhere, could you use that address.
