All ours have been named Fred.

We are now on Fred 6.

They were named because, on paying the deposit for our first one, we reckoned its carpets would be "fredbare" by the time we finished paying for it.

They have all had their name and number fixed on the bonnet in chrome letters.

Had a car called Jemima, our spiders are called, depending on size, Sam, sam's dad sam's grandad etc. I am not keen on spiders but somehow giving them a name has helped.

We have a spider in the shed called Fred . Our van is called Snoozer Cruiser. Because that is what we do in it.

Oh crikey! I'm cringing at the thought of telling you all this one.
Ours is Vinny, short for Vincent. Otherwise it's "The Van".
He gets his full title as I release the handbrake and we say
"Vincent van.... go!"

Yep, not the correct pronunciation of the esteemed artist's name, but hey-ho!

Spiders here are always Harry.
