Getting better
Comfort /Aviva. Never had a claim so don't know if they are any good. I have a very low threshold of expectation with insurance, so I don't expect much and operate on the basis of keeping clear whenever possible. As my lifetime experience is that they are a bunch of sh*ts.

Can only add C&CC offered a company I had never heard of and said they were a recent partner, I did not take them up and went for a big name company!

The NFU (especially the Louth branch who have long made m/h insurance a bit of a speciality) are particularly good if you are in any way unusual. You are dealing with real people who understand what they are doing rather than someone working from a script on a computer screen.

They are also one of the few who will include business use cover without turning a hair.

Jim, if you are after information on what they offer, their contact email is louth_agency@nfumutual.co.uk
You might well get better info from them than from head office.

Can't remember ;)
Got 4 policies with AIB for M/HS and 1 for car also with them
Well worth mentioning for anyone converting a van that they cover them(y) also Importing(y)
Cover for converting, covers as a van being converted to M/H then moves to M/H after 3 mths ish /you can extend the 3 mths provided you inform them ;) Once complete you can get a agreed value ;)(y)

Direct Line were most competitive for me. Have house, contents, two cars and motor home with them so get multi policy discount. Also if you take extended breakdown cover on one vehicle, the cheapest one, you get all the vehicles and both drivers covered. Includes 90 days abroad for cover and breakdown.
