I'm looking to compile a current and definitive list of Motorhome Insurance Companies/Brokers

Please let me know who you are/were insured with, and if you know the under-writer please give that too, but don't worry if you don't know. Just the name of the company or broker is fine.

Cheers, I'll start the ball rolling

We are with Saga, found them very helpful.

We had been with Comfort for several years but found them pricier than they used to be and not as accommodating .

I wouldn't dream of suggesting you copy a list from another site but you might happen to glance here.

ERS via AiB insurance

Edit: sorry, I see you already have ERS. They were very good when we had a claim for storm damage and the premium came down the following year :)

We were initially with Saga until their prices rose. We then moved to NFU but their prices rocketed after a year or two so we went to Frank Pickles and got a policy with Highway/LV. They treated us very well when out previous van was written off, so we stayed with them, but last year Frank Pickles would only renew if the policy holder already had a car policy. That was no good to us as the van is in Jill's name and the car in mine. We went to Comfort who were very helpful and arranged a competitively priced policy for us.

Thanks, I have a list considerably longer than that one, but I know some have gone by the board and others don't do MH insurance anymore. Hence why I require a current list of those with current or recent insurance. :)

I've just enquired with Carole Nash as I have motor bike and car policies with them. They did seem very competitive.
I'll get a fixed price when my insurance is due in March.

Have been with NFU for 8-9 years .... they were the only one I could find at the time that really understood and accepted a-framing a toad, putting both vehicles on the same policy.

Originally Safeguard - Aviva, brokered by the "Dark Side" and Safeguard were good but couldn't get near National Farmers Union on the new van plus they and everybody else I tried insisted it had a High Category Tracker which comes with an annual bill but not NFU they have been brilliant and my sincere thanks to the member who pointed me in that direction......... YOU KNOW WHO YOU ARE.

I discovered the Dark Side trawling for Insurance quotes and I discovered the best Motorhome Club through a derogatory post on the Darkside, so every silver lining has a cloud.
