Anyone looking for a reasonable and motorhome friendly MOT test station in the Bath area need look no further than Locksbrook Garage (on the Locksbrook Trading Estate off the Upoper Bristol Road.)
After the late afternoon MOT I asked them to fit a new cambelt kit, new fanbelt, change the oils and grease the prop shaft ujs. They let me stay overnight right outside the garage (private land) so I was there first thing in the morning.

By three thirty they phoned me to say it was ready for collection... Top Stuff!

think i would have fitted the cam belt BEFORE the MOT.

i assume its a diesel ? if so it is revved to the limiter for a second or two for the emmisions test which is usually the point where the belt snaps.

if it was due a new belt then a good tester would refuse to test the emmisions 'cos of the possibility of the belt snapping as they would become responsible for the damage caused.:whatthe:

excellent service though....
