Hi Everyone Steve M here I was looking at Helmets the other day and have come across one that has a rear view it is called REVEW
Has anyone got one and does it work like a bifocal.
I would purchase until both mod 1 and 2 passed.
On their website they still recommend do the last life saver check

Yes enword as hildweller as replied with the website.
It's interesting how it works.
I am curious if any of you experienced bikers have tried them and thoughts on it.

Couldn't care less what rear view helmet you have or what wide view mirrors you have on your bike - that 'life-saver' is only called that because it does, literally.

Anyway - you'll never pass any bike test if you don't do them so frankly - get WELL into the life-long habit of doing em sooner, rather than too late!

We wouldn't be aloud to wear it for racing even if it was FIM or ACU approved, I think it would take a bit of getting used too, but I would not right it off just out of hand anything that can help rider safety is a plus, I remember the outcry when we had to wear seat belts "If you ended up in water you'd drown, I it caught fire you'd burn etc" it's early days it may become common, there is one with a rear camera & head's up being worked on I believe.

Is it just me or does it look massive, wide ?

And reportedly heavy.

I think it one of those things that solves a problem we don't have.

As an aid to knowing what may be behind you it looks useful.
A replacement for the lifesaver look before changing direction or at junctions and roundabouts it never will be.
Personally I would buy a helmet that fits correctly and comfortably rather than one with a gimmick unless it was the best fit and comfortable

I had an Er6n, it was a great bike, much more grunt than the Honda. Don't buy a single 'till you've tested it at cruising speeds, the vibes can be a killer.

If you have thoughts of two up go for the Kawasaki. We set off from Macclesfield and got to our hotel in Bruges in one hop, two up, no bother at all. The latest version of the Kawasaki is getting very good reviews.

The little Honda would do it but no spare power two up.

The Yamaha 700s are worth looking at too.

I even do a life saver while driving my car and motorhome, that's how well engrained it's become in my brain lol (y)

Not that I can see a bloody thing over my shoulder in the motorhome though lol, apart from the bathroom wall behind me
