Hello again to all our motorhome buddies!
As some of you will know, Liz and I sold up in 2015 with a view to moving to France as part of our '5 year plan'. This has gone just about according to plan, and we now have a house in a village close to Decize in central France (Burgundy) Prior to leaving, we sold our Autosleepers MH, but now realise that this country is really MH friendly, and we are looking to buy another similar sized unit with left hand drive for continental trips.
A Mobilvetta driver 52 is for sale, (with 52 K driven) , and I wondered if any Funsters had any advice on good /bad points with this model.
Thanks in advance to any contributors.
Cordialement, Liz 'n' Clive.
PS the French is coming along v e r y s l o w l y

We had a Moby Driver 52.
Nice little van, ours was dry.
Not really good / bad points, just observations.

Large kitchen worktop area which doesn't rely on / interfere with cooker, sink drainer, etc.
Really big over cab bed.
(If memory serves, the blown heating goes up there, too.)
4 Belted seats.
Heater is more than adequate for this size of van.
Body sits quite high on the chassis, so outside grab handle near the door may be a bonus, easy to fit.
I suppose if there were a flood you would be the last to get wet.
The bed made up from the dining seating was a few inches short for me, but ok for management.
(She slept there, I had a nice big overcab to meself.)
Sheet metal body, so if you need to drill holes it's not as traumatic as a plastic one.
Bathroom window is in the van's rear and faces quite a large mirror, so make sure the blind is closed for night driving or you'll dazzle folk coming up behind you.

Nice little bus.
