Mobile charges

    Apparently the real cost of sending a SMS text on roaming is less that 1 cent (euro). I knew we were being ripped off - now we know by how much.:Eek!:

    Interesting that none of the service providers ever mentioned how much more traffic they got the last time they were made to cut their prices - greedy b***:Angry:

    That'll save a few quid while we're away :thumb:

    Yes, there's a reasonable profit, which should be encouraged, and then there is blatant ripping your loyal customers off. Which seems to be the case in Britain more often than not.

    It will be nice to have cheaper calls in Europe though, I need my phone when I am away for business, but I dread getting the bills:Eek!:
