Ive fitted a 66cm dish to the existing mast on our 5ver and we have a new Pace Sky box.
For some reason, although we have virtually all the channels that we usually get (Sky basic package, approx £19 per month), yesterday we couldn't get BBC1 or Sky 166.
Everything else was OK.
What I can't understand is how you can possibly be missing 1 or 2 channels when everything else is there and the system set up page shows excellent picture strength and quality bars.
Surely, they all come from the same sateliite. once you're locked on, thats that, surely?

Unfortunately they dont all come from the same satellite. BBC is definitely the weakest and unless you are well inside the footprint you'll find the beeb is the first to go.

you don't say where you are but for reasons of copyright the BBC is on astra 2D which has very narrow beams pointed at the uk ..... half way down france you really need a 80cm dish unless the weather is good

if you are in the uk however you should be ok anywhere with a 66cm , if that is the case I would suspect your lnb
