Kitchen Table extension. One of the supports is missing the spring so does not auto lift.

Anyone able to point me to an eBay link for one?

Thanks in advance

They're only supplied with one spring as standard

Honest - two springs would block the fire escape apparently

You can't easily reach the one nearest the door from inside
That's what the dealer said when we asked

Ok worked it out. As there self lifting with the spring you would need 3 hands to lower it. One to lift the shelf away from the supports and 2 to move the supports out the way while you lower the shelf back down

Fair enough. And at least it's 1 less snag to fix.

Thanks

Believe me, those support struts wouldn't stop me exiting if it was on fire and they certainly won't take the weight of a person in any case.
Why worry about a bit of damage when it's going up in flames anyway.
Any ironmonger will supply a simple spring if you show them the existing one.

Since 1996, had Elddis/Swift/Rapido/Rimor/Chausson MHs. Autocruise/Globecar PVCs/Compactline i-138
Our Autocruise Accent only had a spring on one with the release on it with the other there just to support the other side, however when I changed the plastic support in our Globecar I put 2 of these metal ones on and both have springs and release clips, if you get the knack you can release them in turn with one hand which is what we do, no need for 2 hands at all.
